Modern Slavery Act Statement for Financial Year 2023-24

Introduction

  • This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that we take to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business.

Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

  • Our core values are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to running our business responsibly and in accordance with the high standards embedded in our core values.

  • ‘Individual liberty’, ‘respect for the rule of law’ ‘equality’ and ‘mutual respect’ are among our united British values Values. Slavery and human trafficking are very plainly incompatible with these values.

  • We expect the same high standards from our suppliers and all external stakeholders we work with.

  • We have policies and procedures in place to encourage and respond to public interest disclosures and to protect whistle blowers.

  • We will work with our principal suppliers to ensure that our approach to slavery and human trafficking is reflected in all our purchases of goods and services, and, so far as reasonably practicable, that neither we nor they are involved in any way, either directly or indirectly, in slavery and human trafficking.

Our Commitment

  • We are committed to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business

  • This statement has been approved by the Leadership Team and is reviewed annually.

  • This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st January 2023.
